there, karen. >> reporter: we have no weather-related problems we're clear and dry. no fog like the last couple of days. this is broad street, southbound traffic light volume starting you off this morning. the boulevard showing southbound traffic heading toward the schuylkill expressway and light volume moving fine no delays on the boulevard or the schuylkill expressway. we had an accident on the boulevard southbound near rising sun avenue that was blocking a couple of lanes that has cleared. we're seeing speeds 50 miles per hour. the boulevard, schuylkill expressway, blue route and i-95. one live look on the ben franklin bridge, a few cars westbound heading into the city you're good to go on a friday morning, matt and tam. there's new information about a deadly stabbing in philadelphia's frankford section. police think the victim might have been hit by an suv and right they are looking for the car. annie mccormick is live at police headquarters with the latest. good morning, annie. >> reporter: good morning, tam,
so far homicide detective's have not made any arrests in the case. they say the victim was stabbed multiple times. they are trying to figure out whether or not he feels a victim of a hit-and-run. -- he was a victim of a hit-and-run. the victim was discovered in the 1500 block of folkrod street. initially the call to police was for a gunshot victim. they learned that the man was stabbed multiple times in the chest. investigators believe the stabbing took place in the 4700 block of oxford avenue. when the victim ran a half block to where he was discovered he came in contact with an suv. police say they are not calling this a hit-and-run now, because they are not sure if the victim ran into the vehicle or the victim of a hit-and-run. they said the suv did take off. we are told thanks to witnesses they were able to get a license plate number off the suv and since then they have located
andreas that is linked to the suv. it is not clear whether or not they have made contact with the driver. witnesses at the intersection of oxford and frankford saw a man running down the street throw something into the sewer. they recovered a bloody handle that they believe is from a knife connected to the crime. they are looking for more witnesses to help them out with the case. annie mccormick channel 6 "action news." thanks, annie. this is video of a three-alarm fire in allentown. flames shot through the apartment buildings on south carlisle last night. everyone made it out safely. firefighters rescued several dogs from the flames. the red cross is helping those who were displaced. detectives in wilmington are investigating whether a murder was retaliation for another shooting. the man was killed on the 2,000 block of conell street at 6:30.
this scene was a block away from where a 17-year-old was shot in the ankle. that shooting happened at 1:30 yesterday afternoon on the 200 block of north franklin streets. developing right now, new york city police are investigating a suspicious piece of mail that was sent to donald trump son eric last night. the letter contained a white powder. 30 conservatives organized stop trump movement discussing a strategy for a contested convention yesterday. trump warned there could be violence if party elite deny him the nomination. hillary clinton was declared the winner of the tuesday primary. clinton was ahead of bernie sanders about 1500 votes. that coincide with the new york times report that democratic
